5 stars for coffee, customer service, ambience and fast moving lines :). This place definitely is on our to visit list every time a trip to Carmel is on the cards. Parking to any joint located on Ocean Dr can be a bit tricky and this one is no exception, but once you have that sorted out get in line over here and get ready to order some good tasting coffee , croissants etc and enjoy them to your heart's content. Well kept , tidy interiors , great staff , great snack options and some amazing coffee/tea. We ended up ordering a coffee (hot) with a dark chocolate croissant and enjoyed them a lot. Got in and out of the line in about 5 minutes which wasn't bad at all given the number of folks that were ahead of us. Definite recommendation!!

It’s a pretty good coffee shop. If you just want coffee, and don’t want to wait at the humongous queues at the next store and much famous carmel bakery, this can be a good spot. Although they also had a bit of queue, it was considerably shorter, and there was seating space inside. They also sell some merge as well as coffee beans. Got one of their concoctions with a bunch of flavours. It was pretty good, but felt a tad bit sweeter than it needed to be. As others have mentioned, prices can be a bit steep. Did not really try any food, although they did look good.

We stopped by Carmel Valley Coffee Roasting Co. today, and even though there was a long line, it moved surprisingly fast. The wait was absolutely worth it—the coffee was delicious! We tried the white mocha, which was amazing, and grabbed some hot chocolate for the kids, who loved it. Great experience overall, and we’ll definitely be back!

I did not have to try any other coffee in Carmel after my top-notch experience at Carmel Valley Coffee Roasting. The cold brew was absolutely delicious and was everything I was looking for. Great flavor and easy drinking. I'll take an IV of it! Whatever pastry I purchased was easily one of the best of my life. My wife tried some sort of banana latte, which was over the top delicious as well. It was cute inside with both indoor and outdoor seating, so you could sip and take in the beauty. Customer service was warm and friendly. Keep up the great work, everyone!

Extremely good drinks, we loved grabbing coffees and then walking to the beach from here! Staff was friendly and the building was super old and cool, only thing i’ll say is it was a little hard to hear our names called because a lot of people were in line in the space. but other than that it was great!

Stopped here to grab a hot cup of coffee before window shopping. Here’s what I liked: - the line moved quickly - there was plenty of space to stand inside while we waited. - there is a cute little indoor seating area but you need to be able to climb a couple of steps to get up to it. - some outdoor seating at small bistro tables - pastries were delicious! We tried the raspberry almond bar, pecan bar and lemon bar. All were incredible but the pecan ended up being the crowd favorite followed closely by the lemon bar. - coffee (vanilla latte and hot tea) were very tasty Things I would change: - I ordered my latte extra hot but it was barely beyond warm. I had to drink quickly before it got cold. - very limited street parking…can’t change that but I would if I could! LOL.

Lovely place! I'm an "easy sell" so tried the recommended Bee Sting w/ oat milk and was great call! Took down to the beach (short walk) and had a wonderful morning!

When we rolled into Carmel, I scoped out this spot and couldn’t resist when I saw their special, because yes, I am that into bananas. I ended up getting the Banana Bread Latte, easy ice, and they crushed it with this one! The line was long, but service moved fast. The girls behind the counter worked fast. The drink was devine. That banana foam on top? Woooo, exactly the kind of thing banana lovers live for. They also have mugs and merch up front that had my eye. It was a solid visit overall. I’ll absolutely be back for another pour (maybe try one of their other specials).
